FAQ's
How deep should I install ?
For the best performance most of the board should be in the ground
on both sides. No more than ¾" should be above ground
level.
What is the "Slip Joint" and how is it used?
Each piece of
has a slip joint cut 2" back on both ends. Slip joint was designed
to speed up installation and to allow for thermal expansion and
contraction of .
The joint can easily be reproduced in the field with hand or power
tools. Always use a hairpin or a "J" stake to join the
boards together, never screw through the
slip joint.
What is the tightest bend I can make with ?
1X4 and 1X6 can make a 24" radius, while 2X4 and 2X6 can
make a 36" radius. You must have full lengths to achieve these
bends.
How often should I stake ?
We recommend every 3' 0" OC. You can use fewer on curves
and often need more on straight installations.

|
How should I attach the stakes?
Use plated screws at least 1 ¼" long and at least
2 per stake.
How many different stakes are available?
12" Standard Stake
18" Standard Stake
13" Galvanized hairpin
12" Steel "J" Stake
You will have to choose the best stake for your actual soil conditions.
What is
made from?
We use post consumer Polyethylene (#2) bottles (milk, shampoo,
detergent, etc.) that are ground into a flake and extruded at over

How do you get the color?
Iron Oxide (rust) is added at a measured rate to make the
a consistent color and increase the UV resistance. |
