epic plastics is engineered with 100% recycled polyethylene
and can be fabricated and installed with regular woodworking tools.
In order to ease fabrication and help enhance your finished product
we offer the following suggestions:
CUTTING & DRILLING: Always use the coarsest saw blade
possible (carbide tips are the best.) For drilling any sharp drill
bit will work.
EXPANSION & FLEXIBILITY: 
reacts to temperature variations that can result in up to 1/32"/ft.
of expansion or contraction in the typical outdoor environment.
Designs including long runs should take into consideration this
linear expansion and contraction as well as the fact that
is 5 to 6 times more flexible than wood and may require extra support
bracing. Never screw through the slip joint.
NAILS, SCREWS, & BOLTS: No pre drilling is necessary when
using coarse plated screws or galvanized ring shank nails.
PROPERTIES: is resistant
to insects, termites, and boring worms found in outdoor environments.
It will not split, splinter or rot. It does not absorb moisture
or promote bacterial growth. Made from 100% recylcled polyethylene,
